The Barra Brava would like to congratulate the new owners of D.C. United Erick Thohir and Jason Levien. Erick and Jason join our friend Will Chang in bringing new energy and resources to DC United and our stadium efforts.
Oscar and Jay had the oppurtunity to meet and speak with Erick, Jason and Will earlier this week. The new ownership group not only emphasized that a new stadium was their No. 1 priority, but also stressed the importance of the Barra Brava to the team and the stadium efforts. Having spoken to the new ownership we have every reason to be exicited about the future of DC United in DC.
Erick, Jason and Will each expressed how important it was that we continue the positive momement created by having large crowds at the next two home matches against PSG (Sunday, July 28) and Columbus Crew (Saturday, July 4th).
Will Chang and new owner Jason Levien will be our guests at the tailgate Sunday July 28 for the friendly against PSG.
